" C - What is it that differentiates Krav Maga from other systems?
RD - In Krav Maga we are interested in what works. If a technique is effective and simple to execute, we adopt it. Aesthetics are of little importance to us. The only concern we have is to learn what is most simple, most logical. An attacker has a head start on us: it is therefore absolutely necessary that our move be short and fast. All our techniques are based on these principles.
 

C - Krav Maga is also taught in various countries, Israel and the U.S.A. among others?
RD - Yes. Since 1964, in Israel it is no longer classified as a military secret. It was exported to the United States about twenty years ago, particularly to New York and Los Angeles. Recently the Chief of Police Beverly Hills met an officer of the G.I.G.N. They were surprised to discover that they both practiced Krav Maga! "
